Has Britney Spears checked herself into a spa clinic to rethink her split with Kevin Federline?
The singer has been resting at the exclusive Sanctuary retreat in Arizona since New Year's Eve when she famously collapsed - according to her spokesman, from "tiredness" - in the swanky Deuce club.
However fresh reports from the US suggest there could be more to Britney's bit of 'me-time' in Arizona than just catching up on her sleep.
Friends of the popstrel say she was distraught over the Christmas break because she realised how much she missed her ex-hubby, especially when he called on Christmas day to speak to the kiddies.
One told Life & Style magazine, "She told Kevin the holidays were hard and talking to him made things harder because she missed him.
"She was depressed over the holidays. At first, it was liberating for her to be free and single. But now she's in this big new house in Beverly Hills, and it's really lonely.
"She invites girlfriends over, and her mom and sister spend a lot of time there, but, at the end of the day, it's just Britney and her babies.
"When she first separated from Kev, she partied like crazy to numb the pain. Now the hurt is catching up with her."
Let's hope Britney enjoys the rest and relaxation and clears her head over her split saga - and in the meantime hope she hasn't heard the latest rumours about K-Fed and her pal Lindsay Lohan.
Stories from the US suggest the former Mr Britney has been texting Linds for a date (if that's not a case of trying to get your ex's attention we don't know what is!)
However, Linds has given him the big SNUB according to pals.
One told US mag, Us Weekly, "Lindsay was totally grossed out. She thought it was hilarious.
"She couldn't believe he was so pathetic. She doesn't want him using her to make Britney jealous."

Good for lin, What a scum bag! As I knewn he was when Brit and him met. Hell, Im a guy too! So, Good for LIn and the only thing in Brit's mind is this scum bag with her kids and the thoughts of the family she thought she had!? He's a baby making rich chicker. God knows he can't dance,sing or act. Although he's playing a good one on the courts and that where it counts. The hell I would let him have full custody!! He knows his Child support goes BING BING. I could not imagine someone I loved and allowing them to go this nutts without it being about money honey. The stupider you act the better he looks and LIVES. Trust me, I had some money in my life...I knewn the truth and done some stupid shit that only the outside people seen. I spent and acted all the dumb ass things I could do, mainly because I was being manipulated by a whore! She knew I loved or daughter and used every once to make me look a fool. It worked. And after I didnt see my kid for two years..Not because of court orders,but because of tooo much drama and paiinting pictures I was a Horrible person and spending every last dime I had. I got Straight and Now I see my kid ALL the time. A lawyer told me Set back And let herfeed the rope!! He was so right!
